This is where the owner lives, at least part time.  He has a business Santiago.
He even has tropical wild life, such as these Flamingos.
He raises Emus as well as many other birds and animals.  I ate some Emu meat in Australia,  and it was great, better than beef.
Look at this island he created in the lake he built.  There is some type of wild birds nesting on the island.  Below is a close-up of the same birds you see above.

This water flows down from the mountain into the lake on one side and out the other side.  Actually, he has many lakes, this is just one of them.  The one thing I did not like was the water.   It is brown and looks dirty.  The reason for this is the type of soil he used to make the lakes.  I told you I was going to copy it, but when I copy something I always make it better.  The vegetation you see above will  be built inside an area walled off by a concrete wall that stops at the water level.  I will use a crushed rock material for the base and the sides of the lakes.   The lakes are only about a foot deep, so it is relatively easy to construct them.  The constant flow of fresh water keeps them clean.  I may even pour a concrete bottom on some smaller lakes.  It looks nice here, but it can be made to look much better.

Kids of all ages will enjoy this.  Cat just went wild over all of the birds and animals.  As far as building such facilities on our property, I really had no choice on the subject.   Cat demanded it.  It was a matter of either we buy this property or or we build the same facilities on the other property.  Actually, I also like living in this type of environment.  How about you?
The Mother bird is on the nest and the Daddy bird is keeping his eye on me.  Just before I took these pictures, the Daddy bird came over to where I was standing and yelled at me with a very loud voice.
We rode horses to see a lot of the land we inspected.  Note the saddle.  In Chile, if you need a saddle, you just get some Lambs wool and make a saddle.
We started our property search in Argentina.  This picture was taken at a very nice farm/ranch in Argentina.  Cat likes dogs, as well as cats, or any other type of animal.

Our problem with the Argentina land was that it was dry and had a desert like appearance, smell, and feel.

The land we looked at was nice and we were debating on which one we liked the best.  But we were not 100% happy with anything we saw.  So we decided to take a trip over to Chile and look around before making a decision.  We had never been to Chile before, so we did not know what to expect.

After about 2 minutes in the Southern part of Chile, we made up our mind.   No place in the world compared to what Chile had to offer in Climate, appearance, smell, or feel.  It was entirely different from Argentina.  It was beautiful in every direction you looked.  And it was so nice to just breath the air.  It was clean, incredibly clean.

If you enjoy parties and drinking, you cannot beat Argentina, but if you enjoy nature and a clean environment, you cannot beat what the Northern Patagonia Region of Chile has to offer.

We spent a lot of time checking out the government situation and it is a stable and a safe environment in which to live.   It is especially safe in the Southern section where we are located.  If you go to the Capital city; Santiago, it is a different world.   The sky has a dirty look, the weather is hot, and the air is polluted.  It is much like Los Angeles; (maybe not quite as bad) but it is built in a very large “bowl” where pollution from automobiles, industry, and aircraft collects.
